Daniel had a pizza party at home, and invited all his friends. Randy Yost, Daniel’s best friend at the time, was picking on Daniel’s friend, Pete Chevron, for wearing hand-me-down clothes. Daniel leapt to Pete’s defense. This is consistent with “associating with the lowly,” a Christian value that Daniel was taught in church and practiced forever after.[1]
